Four individuals have appeared in court charged with the murder of a newborn girl who was reportedly stabbed multiple times. The case was heard at Sheffield Crown Court.

The defendants, all Slovakian nationals, include Andrea Skopova, 20; Peter Horvath Jr., 19; Peter Horvath Sr., 38; and Nina Horvathova, 37. They face charges in connection with the death of the infant, referred to in court as Baby S.

According to court records, the newborn suffered 33 wounds from 15 separate stab wounds. The baby's body was found on August 30 in an outbuilding located in the Wincobank area of Sheffield, North Yorkshire.

No pleas were entered by the accused during the initial hearing. The court scheduled the next hearing for December 14. Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the case have not been disclosed at this stage.
