Bachendorf’s, a well-established jewelry and timepiece retailer in North Texas, plans to open a new store in the Knox Street area early next year. The company announced on Tuesday that the new location, scheduled to debut around January 2027, will mark its fifth in the region.
The Knox Street store is designed to function not only as a retail space but also as a venue for events, featuring a full-service bar and serving as a hub for designers, collectors, and brand partners. Lawrence Bock, president of Bachendorf’s, described the store as offering a “more dynamic environment” where guests can explore rotating jewelry residencies, each spotlighting a different brand. This approach aims to provide customers with access to rare designs and unique experiences, encouraging frequent visits to discover new offerings.
The new store will occupy more than 2,200 square feet and has been developed in collaboration with Droese Raney Architecture. Bachendorf’s current North Texas locations include Galleria Dallas and the Rolex Boutique at Highland Park Village.
The Knox Street area has attracted several brands in recent months, drawn by its lively atmosphere and convenient access from the Katy Trail. Other anticipated arrivals to the neighborhood include Addison Bay, an activewear company, alongside brands such as Doen, Staud, and TWP. This continued growth underscores Knox Street’s reputation as a dynamic retail and cultural district within Dallas.
