The Bangladesh Air Force School & College (BAF SEMC) is positioning itself as a leading institution in English-medium education in Bangladesh, aiming to expand its reach and enhance the quality of its academic offerings. Over the past three years, the school has maintained a 100% pass rate, with a notable increase in students achieving the highest grade of A*. Among its students, one secured the seventh position in the admission process for the prestigious Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), highlighting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.

Despite these successes, BAF SEMC officials emphasize that their ultimate goal remains unfulfilled. The school’s leadership envisions producing graduates who are not only academically accomplished but also prepared to navigate global challenges as responsible global citizens while maintaining a strong connection to their national identity.

“Our results over the past three years have been excellent,” said Tahsin-Ul-Islam Samin, a representative of the institution. “However, we want all our students to graduate ready to face global challenges and become global citizens while remaining national citizens.” He also noted a growing trust among families, as reflected in the substantial demand for limited seats. This year, the school received approximately 139 applications for just 15 openings in Standard I.

Looking ahead, the school plans to expand its facilities and is exploring opportunities to establish branches in other parts of the country.
