Bahla ended Al Nasr’s unbeaten run in the 2026/27 Jindal League with a 1-0 victory on Saturday, while Sur secured their first win of the season by defeating Oman Club 2-1. Additionally, Dhofar and Fanja played to a 1-1 draw as the sixth round of matches concluded.

At Nizwa Sports Complex, Bahla secured a disciplined win over Al Nasr, who had maintained an unbeaten start before this fixture. Husni al Hinai scored the only goal just after halftime in the 46th minute, capitalizing on an attacking opportunity to give the home side the lead. Al Nasr had controlled possession in the first half but struggled to penetrate Bahla’s organized defense, resulting in few clear chances for either side prior to the break. After conceding, Al Nasr pushed to find an equalizer, but Bahla remained defensively solid and threatened on the counterattack. The win moved Bahla to fifth place with nine points, while Al Nasr slipped to third with 12 points after five matches.

Sur claimed their first points of the campaign with a 2-1 home victory over Oman Club at Sur Sports Complex. The home side took an early lead in the fourth minute when Waleed al Musalmi’s shot deflected off the goalkeeper Faris al Ghaithi and into the net. Oman Club responded with increased pressure and equalized in the 38th minute through Khalid al Hadabi, who converted a cross to level the score before halftime. After the break, Oman Club continued to press but Sur gradually regained control, with Abdullah al Mushaifri scoring the decisive goal in the 78th minute. Sur held on to their lead for the remainder of the game, moving off the bottom of the table but remaining 14th. Oman Club stayed eighth with six points.

At Al Saada Sports Complex in Salalah, Dhofar and Fanja shared the points in a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, Dhofar took the lead in the 68th minute due to an own goal by Fanja defender Salim al Shabibi, who inadvertently deflected a free kick from substitute John Paul Rashford. Fanja responded with renewed attacking effort and equalized in the 82nd minute through Mulhem al Hadhrami, who scored from a cross to secure a valuable point. Both teams now sit on six points, with Fanja ninth and Dhofar tenth on goal difference.

The sixth round saw a total of 14 goals across seven matches, producing six wins and one draw. The league standings remain tightly contested, with Al Nahda leading at 13 points, followed closely by Al Shabab and Al Nasr on 12 points each and Seeb in fourth with 10 points. Top scorers include Mulhem al Hadhrami, Hazza al Mushaifri of Al Musannah, Axel Meye of Seeb, and Abdullah al Mushaifri of Sur, each with four goals.
