A Baltimore mother has reported that a man allegedly residing in the city’s sewer system has been chasing and harassing children in the neighborhood. Unique Wiggins, whose children first told her about the individual, initially doubted their claims but decided to investigate after multiple complaints.
Wiggins recounted that on a recent Friday, her 21-year-old daughter called her in a state of panic, expressing fear over the situation. The woman described the incident as unsettling, noting that the man had pursued her children down the street on more than one occasion.
After these encounters, Wiggins contacted local police to report the matter. Authorities informed her that the sewers and culverts are considered public property, which limits their ability to intervene directly in the case. No further details on law enforcement’s response or potential next steps have been disclosed.
