The Iranian team finished atop Group E with seven points, marking their third consecutive appearance in the tournament’s Group Stage. Etihad Club concluded the group with four points, ending their chance to advance.

The match, held on Sunday, saw Etihad take an early lead in the 10th minute. Leen Al-btoush capitalized on defensive errors, intercepting a pass before receiving a cutback from Carrie Consolino and curling the ball past Bam Khatoon goalkeeper Raha Yazdani. Despite Bam Khatoon’s efforts to equalize, the visiting team’s attacks were frequently thwarted by Etihad’s goalkeeper Sherin Al Shalabe, who anticipated numerous attempts.

However, in the 32nd minute, Sara Didar found the net for Bam Khatoon with a well-placed looping header off a cross from Melika Motevalli, leveling the score. In the closing stages of the first half, two potential goals from Bam Khatoon’s Fatemah Shaban and Roujin Tamrian were disallowed for offside.
