Kuwait City authorities have detained a Bangladeshi truck driver for illegally dumping waste on a road in the Jabriya area, according to a statement from the General Traffic Department. The incident came to light following a public complaint regarding the littered roadway.

Traffic officers from the Security Control Department’s Traffic Regulation Section conducted an investigation that identified the driver, who was found to be operating the vehicle without a valid license. As a result, the driver received citations for both illegal dumping and unlicensed driving.

The driver remains in traffic detention as authorities initiate deportation procedures. Additionally, the vehicle involved is set to be destroyed in accordance with local regulations. The department emphasized that this action aligns with established protocols aimed at maintaining road cleanliness and safety.
