The programme, conducted under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Development (SICIP) project, is funded by the Asian Development Bank and implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. Oversight is provided by Bangladesh Bank’s SME & Special Programmes Department. Its primary objective is to equip entrepreneurs with essential skills related to business operations, management, financial planning, market management, and strategies for business growth.

Senior officials attending the certificate distribution included Mohammad Wasim, deputy programme director of the PIU (SICIP) and joint director of Bangladesh Bank, and Mohammad Saifuddowla, head of MSME at Bank Asia, who served as guests of honour.

By building the managerial and entrepreneurial capabilities of participants, the initiative aims to foster business expansion, job creation, and broader economic development within Bangladesh.
