Bank Muscat has launched a series of activities to mark the Khareef Dhofar Season, running from July 22 to August 17, 2026, as part of its ongoing support for national tourism initiatives in the Sultanate of Oman. The initiative aims to enhance the profile of the Dhofar Governorate as a key regional and global tourism destination.

The bank has introduced an innovative interactive experience connecting Muscat and Salalah through dedicated booths located at Oman Mall in Muscat Governorate and Uptown Salalah in Dhofar Governorate. Each venue is equipped with live interconnected screens called “Khareef Portals,” allowing visitors at either location to view events and activities happening simultaneously at the other site.

This technological integration is intended to bring the ambient experience of Khareef Dhofar Season closer to wider audiences across Oman and exemplifies how modern technology can elevate visitor engagement while fostering stronger ties between the country’s governorates.

At Oman Mall, visitors can observe the lively celebrations and events taking place at the Bank Muscat booth in Salalah Ateen, while those visiting the Salalah venue have access to live activities from Muscat. Both locations will host a variety of family-friendly activities, entertainment competitions, and interactive experiences designed for all age groups, showcasing the natural and cultural attractions of the Dhofar region.

In addition to the entertainment offerings, Bank Muscat’s sales teams will be present at both sites to offer information on the bank’s latest banking products, solutions, and exclusive promotions. Among the offers available is a special Food & Beverage (F&B) promotion as part of the Bank Muscat Rewards loyalty programme, valid until August 31. Customers using Bank Muscat credit cards at restaurants and cafes equipped with the bank’s point-of-sale machines in Dhofar Governorate can earn up to double reward points.

This campaign reinforces Oman’s commitment to expanding its tourism sector while providing innovative experiences that connect local communities and visitors during the notable Khareef season.
