A 27-year-old man died on Sunday after a wingsuit accident in Millville Canyon, Utah, officials said. The experienced BASE jumper was part of a group of 11 individuals who jumped from a ledge approximately 700 feet above the canyon floor. According to Deputy Doyle Peck of the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, the man’s wingsuit failed during the descent, resulting in a fatal fall.

Emergency responders, including two medical helicopters, were dispatched to the scene. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, the jumper was pronounced dead at the location. Authorities have not released further details about the specific cause of the wingsuit malfunction, and an investigation is ongoing.
