The Chicago Bears will open their training camp to fans on 10 dates this summer, beginning after players report to Halas Hall in Lake Forest. Veteran players are scheduled to arrive on July 28, while rookies, quarterbacks, and injured players will report three days earlier on July 25.
The Bears have announced that fans can attend select practices at their facility, with free tickets available through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. on July 8. The open practices will take place on July 31; August 1 (designated as Kids Day); August 4, 5, 6; August 8 (Celebrating Women and Girls in Sports Day); August 9 (Vamos Bears Day); August 13; August 18; and August 25. Practice times for these dates are yet to be finalized. The team has not yet set a date for the annual Family Fest event, which typically occurs at Soldier Field.
Since 2020, the Bears have conducted training camp at their Lake Forest headquarters, following extensive renovations. Prior to that, the team held camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais for 18 seasons. From 1984 through 2001, the Bears held training camp at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
The team’s preseason schedule begins on August 15 with a home game against the Cleveland Browns at Soldier Field. Additionally, the Bears will participate in two joint practices this summer, though neither will take place at Halas Hall. On August 20, they will practice alongside the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati, ahead of their preseason matchup on August 22. A week later, on August 27, Chicago will visit the Tennessee Titans in Nashville for another joint practice, preceding their August 29 preseason game.
The Bears’ regular season will kick off on September 13, with an away game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Head coach Ben Johnson, entering his second year, has emphasized a continued sense of urgency as the team prepares to compete for the upcoming season.
