The Chicago Bears will begin their 2026 training camp with rookies reporting July 25 and veterans arriving on July 28, the team confirmed. Practices are set to start on July 29 at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, the Bears’ training facility since 2020. The organization is expected to provide further details on public attendance for the camp, with tickets traditionally offered free but in limited quantities.
The Bears’ preseason schedule includes a home opener against the Cleveland Browns on August 15. Following that, they will face the Cincinnati Bengals on August 22 and the Tennessee Titans on August 29, both on the road. Prior to each away game, the Bears will participate in joint practices with their upcoming opponents: at Cincinnati on August 20 and in Nashville on August 27. These joint sessions offer teams a controlled setting to prepare against each other, a format favored by many NFL coaches.
This year’s leaguewide schedule includes 23 joint practices, reflecting an ongoing trend toward such preparatory meetings. Last season, the Bears hosted joint practices at Halas Hall with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. However, in 2026 they will not host any joint sessions at their facility.
The Bears will open their 2026 regular season on September 13 with a road game against the Carolina Panthers. The team’s training camp and preseason activities mark the beginning of their preparations for the upcoming NFL season.
