Bernie Ecclestone, the former Formula 1 chief and billionaire businessman, has put his London Knightsbridge property on the market with an asking price of £50 million. The 11-storey, glass-fronted building served as both Ecclestone’s F1 headquarters and his residence following his separation from his second wife, Croatian model Slavica Radic. The property is located close to Hyde Park and features a four-bedroom penthouse occupying the top four floors, which offers extensive views over the park.

The building’s layout includes office spaces spanning from the first to the fifth floors, separating Ecclestone and his current wife, Brazilian Fabiana Flosi, from the staff quarters situated on the lower ground floor. The couple, who welcomed a son, Ace, in 2020, currently occupy no part of the property, which now stands empty.

Ecclestone, 95, has amassed a significant collection of high-value assets over the years, including Britain’s most expensive private house near Kensington Palace, a £30 million yacht, and a £23 million chalet in the Swiss resort of Gstaad where he married Flosi in 2012. The former F1 boss is the father of several children from previous marriages, including daughters Tamara and Petra with Radic and a daughter Deborah from his first marriage, who has since become a grandmother.

Reports indicate that Ecclestone and Flosi plan to spend more time in Portugal, where she has purchased a £35 million property overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Portuguese residence is equipped with luxury amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis court, and internal lift, which is expected to cater to Ecclestone’s needs as he advances in age.

Ecclestone, who once described himself simply as a “used car dealer,” has built a fortune estimated at around £3 billion. While he has declined to comment on the sale or the future of the Knightsbridge building, the move signals a shift in the couple’s residential priorities, focusing more on their life in Portugal.
