The engagement of Daniel G. Callaghan, eldest son of Stephen and Mrs. Callaghan of Altrincham, Cheshire, to Charles L. H. Carroll, younger son of Anthony and Mrs. Carroll of Sydney, Australia, has been announced.

Two marriages were solemnized on October 10, 2026. Felix McCorquodale, son of David and Elizabeth Ann McCorquodale, wed Lilly Coleman, daughter of Mel Coleman and Annabel Croft, in a ceremony held in Battersea, London.

On the same day, Dominic M. Hauschild, son of Andrew and Heather Hauschild of Southampton, Hampshire, married Katherine A. M. Williams, daughter of Laura Williams of Brentwood, Essex. The wedding ceremony took place at St Etheldreda’s Church, Ely Place, with Reverend Father Edward Hauschild officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Megan Wise, while Mr. Ravi Jackson and Mr. Eddie Simmonds served as best men. A reception followed at The Ned, Poultry.

In remembrance, David James Watson passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 14 at the age of 92. He was husband to the late Judy Watson (d. 2020), father to Sarah and Simon, grandfather to Jessica, Fred, and Harry, and great-grandfather to Ollie and Ella. A celebration of his life is scheduled for October 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Wenvall Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium, followed by a gathering at Cardiff Golf Club. The family has requested colorful clothing and intimated that donations may be made to the NSPCC and British Heart Foundation in lieu of flowers.
