The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) held a demonstration on Wednesday at Tapadia Natya Mandir in Nirala Bazar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, to protest against the Congress party's stance on the Women’s Reservation Bill. The protestors accused Congress of opposing women’s rights and hindering their development and progress through their parliamentary position on the bill.

Participants in the protest raised slogans targeting the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi, criticizing their approach to women’s empowerment. The BJYM protesters sought to draw public attention to Congress and other parties’ positions on the issue, suggesting these stances were detrimental to advancing women's representation.

The protest was conducted peacefully and in accordance with all applicable regulations. Several notable figures attended the event, including CSMC Standing Committee Chairman Anil Makariye and corporator Amruta Palodkar. Other attendees included Chhaya Khajekar, Sunita Salunke, Shobha Borande, Seema Salve, Kirti Shinde, Jayashree Kawalekar, Archana Nilkanth, Anita Mankape, and Vandana Shah.

Key BJYM leaders present included district president Rahul Dandge, general secretary Akshay Mhatre, Yadnesh Bassaiye, Vishal Sanap, Amol Tambe, Pawan Sonawane, Shantanu Shukla, Kiran Lakhnani, Shivraj Shinde, Gaurav Jatve, and Gajanan Deshmukh, among others, who participated in significant numbers.
