Two students were injured and two others taken into custody following a violent altercation at Westchester Community College on Wednesday. The incident occurred outside the David Swoope Student Center on the suburban New York campus.

Video footage captured the chaotic scene, showing multiple students engaged in a physical fight on the ground. One individual was seen stumbling away and collapsing, covered in blood, while bystanders shouted for the violence to stop. Several witnesses reported that a knife was involved in the confrontation.

A student who witnessed the fight described arriving just as it began, noting that the two involved students dropped to the floor amid the chaos. She recalled seeing significant bleeding and immediately attempting to provide aid by applying a sweater to one victim’s wounds to stem the flow of blood.

According to witnesses, tensions between the individuals involved had escalated over the course of two days before erupting into the violent melee. Authorities confirmed that one of the victims sustained a stab wound to the back, while another was injured in the head. Both were treated for their injuries following the incident.

Law enforcement responded promptly to the scene and apprehended two suspects believed to be connected to the fight. Further details on the motive behind the altercation and the identities of those involved have not been released as the investigation continues. The college has not commented publicly on the incident.
