The Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) in Kuwait has approved the technical evaluation results for a tender concerning the study, design, and supervision of nurses' housing projects within health districts, following a request from the Ministry of Health. This decision was announced on October 3.
CAPT revealed that four consulting firms successfully passed the technical evaluation phase and are now qualified to submit their bids. The agency has authorized the opening of these bids while noting that three other firms did not meet the necessary qualifications and were consequently excluded from the process. The firms that qualified have been instructed to access CAPT’s website for details regarding the bid opening schedule.
In a related matter, CAPT dismissed complaints lodged by companies regarding two other tenders. One complaint pertained to the tender for preparing and providing meals to public hospitals and health centers across groups one to four, while the other concerned the tender for modernizing the Ministry of Health’s primary data center. Both complaints were rejected following review.
These actions by CAPT underscore ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare infrastructure and services in Kuwait through transparent tender processes and accountability measures. The nurses’ housing project aims to improve accommodation facilities for healthcare workers within the country’s health districts.
