Fulham secured a 3-2 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Carabao Cup third round, advancing to the fourth stage of the competition. The match featured a dramatic back-and-forth contest before a late goal from substitute Oscar Bobb proved decisive.

Fulham took an early lead in the 13th minute when Rodrigo Muniz headed in a cross from Cesar Palacios, who had advanced down the left flank. West Ham quickly responded as Morato headed home a cross delivered by Arne Engels and set up by Konstantinos Mavropanos. Fulham regained the lead shortly before halftime with Palacios breaking through the offside trap to finish past West Ham goalkeeper Finlay Herrick.

The Hammers leveled the score again just before the break when a cross from Kyle Walker-Peters was flicked on by Mohamadou Kante. The initial shot by Kante was saved by Fulham’s Benjamin Lecomte, but Pablo capitalized on the rebound to make it 2-2. The remainder of the first half and much of the second half was tightly contested, with few clear chances.

The breakthrough came off the bench when Oscar Bobb was introduced. Nine minutes after coming on, Bobb made a decisive run into the West Ham box, maneuvering past defenders to score inside the near post, securing Fulham’s advancement.

Elsewhere in League One action, Peterborough United edged past Barnsley 7-6 on penalties following a 3-3 draw at London Road. Peterborough took an early lead through Cameron McGeehan, but Barnsley responded, with Reyes Cleary scoring twice to put the visitors in contention. Danny Ormerod scored twice for Peterborough, including a late equalizer in the 88th minute that sent the match to a shootout.

In another cup fixture, Brentford held on for a 2-1 win at Reading, with goals from Callum Wilson and Fabio Carvalho proving enough to secure the victory.
