Indian actor Tiger Shroff was the target of a shooting in Mumbai on Sunday evening, according to local police. The 36-year-old star was leaving a private event in the upscale Juhu neighborhood when assailants opened fire.
Authorities confirmed that Shroff was not physically harmed by the gunfire, but two other individuals, including the actor's driver, sustained injuries in the incident. Both were reportedly treated for their wounds.
Mumbai police quickly launched an investigation, deploying multiple teams to follow up on leads. Within hours, three suspects were apprehended in the neighboring state of Rajasthan. Officials involved in the inquiry disclosed that two of the detainees have prior criminal charges—one related to theft and the other for violations under the Arms Act.
Despite the arrests, police have not yet identified a clear motive behind the attack. Officials continue to question the suspects in hopes of uncovering additional details surrounding the circumstances that led to the shooting. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff’s safety has been assured by law enforcement sources as the probe remains ongoing.
