A new family entertainment center is set to open in Riyadh this November, as Boo Boo Laand expands its footprint into Saudi Arabia with a 38,000-square-foot facility at Solitaire Mall Riyadh. The venue marks the brand’s first location in the Kingdom and forms part of Boo Boo Laand’s broader regional growth, which includes upcoming openings in Abu Dhabi.
Originally launched in Dubai, Boo Boo Laand offers a luxury family entertainment experience aimed at children aged zero to 15 years. The Riyadh location will feature over 60 attractions distributed across roughly 25 themed zones, designed to engage young visitors with a variety of imaginative and interactive activities. Among the experiences planned are settings such as Boo Boo Airport and Boo Boo Jungle, along with entertainment options like laser tag, combining creative play with competitive fun.
The venue is distinguished by its visually striking design, incorporating oversized floral elements, colorful structures, and whimsical shapes intended to evoke a storybook atmosphere. The environment encourages exploration and creativity, while also prioritizing comfort, safety, and high-quality hospitality for accompanying adults.
Salil Kumar Malik, founder and managing director of Boo Boo Laand, along with co-founder and brand director Aliesha Brar Malik, explained that Riyadh was a natural choice for expansion due to its youthful population and increasing demand for premium leisure offerings. They highlighted how Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to enhance quality of life through investment in entertainment and cultural experiences, supports the timing of the launch.
The founders also noted their partnership with a Saudi-based joint venture entity as a key component in delivering a destination where children can safely explore and play, while families benefit from a thoughtfully curated environment.
Boo Boo Laand Riyadh aims to open its doors at Solitaire Mall in November, with further details about the venue’s features expected to be released in the coming weeks.
