LuLu Hypermarket and LuLu Exchange have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing customer value by integrating LuLu Money remittance services with the LuLu Happiness Loyalty Program across Kuwait. The collaboration was formally presented on June 15 at LuLu Hypermarket’s headquarters in Kuwait City, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
Through this integration, customers who conduct eligible transactions via LuLu Money will now earn LuLu Happiness Points, which can be redeemed at LuLu Hypermarket outlets throughout Kuwait. This initiative seeks to create a cohesive customer experience by linking financial remittance services with retail rewards, enabling users to benefit from routine transactions in a novel way.
The partnership leverages the strengths of two established brands within the LuLu ecosystem, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and engagement. By allowing loyalty points to accumulate on every qualifying remittance transaction, customers gain flexibility in redeeming rewards both in physical stores and across digital platforms, thereby enhancing convenience and value.
An additional element of the collaboration is the launch of an improved referral program. Existing customers who recommend LuLu Money services to their family and friends will receive rewards, supporting community-driven growth and further strengthening loyalty across both brands.
Speaking at the event, Rajesh Rangray, General Manager of LuLu Exchange, emphasized the mutual commitment to customer value, stating that the partnership combines the extensive LuLu Exchange remittance network with the established benefits of the LuLu Happiness Loyalty Program to create a more rewarding user experience and promote greater engagement with digital services.
Sreejith K. S, Director of LuLu Hypermarket, highlighted the customer-focused approach of the initiative, noting that linking remittance transactions with the loyalty ecosystem is intended to deepen engagement and retention among Kuwait’s diverse communities by enhancing the overall value proposition.
The launch was attended by key figures including Sakeer Hussain N, Regional Director of LuLu Hypermarket; Shinuraj Kaviraj, Regional Manager; Antony Pathrose, Commercial Manager; alongside senior management from LuLu Exchange such as Deputy General Manager Subaheer Thayil and Head of Operations Shafaz Ahamed.
This collaboration represents a significant step in LuLu Exchange’s strategy to boost digital customer engagement and reinforce the integration of retail and financial services in the Kuwaiti market. Both organizations view the partnership as a demonstration of their commitment to innovation, convenience, and delivering practical rewards through a unified service ecosystem.
