Bottesford Town continued their unbeaten run with a 2-1 home victory against Knaresborough Town, thanks to goals from Will Lenehan and Jack Varley. Varley’s late strike in the 86th minute secured the win after Jack McMenemy had briefly equalized for the visitors.

Dearne & District also maintained a perfect start to their campaign, recording a 3-1 win at Retford FC. Despite Iren Wilson opening the scoring for the hosts, Jamie Austin’s hat-trick propelled Dearne to their third straight victory.

Penistone Church claimed their first points of the season in a 4-1 home win over Parkgate, boosted by a remarkable impact from substitute Reece High, who scored twice within two minutes. Parkgate had taken the lead through Bradley Gregory, but Harry Viggars’s equalizer set the stage for High’s quickfire goals. Elliot Harrison added a late goal during injury time. The match, played in front of 336 spectators, saw Parkgate briefly ahead before Church’s comeback.

Horbury Town secured a narrow 3-2 away win over Frickley Athletic, with Lucas Smith scoring a brace inside the first two minutes of the match. James Cusworth added a third goal for Horbury before Frickley mounted a late rally, with Samuel Cable and Charles Price scoring to make the closing stages tense.

Rossington Main opened their season with a goalless draw at Golcar United in front of 312 fans. The hosts were reduced to ten men after Harry Mitchell received a red card, but both sides were unable to find the breakthrough.

Barton Town hosted Campion in a match that ended 1-1, with Andy Norfolk giving the hosts an early lead and Ewan Gregson scoring a penalty to equalize for Campion. The visitors faced numerical challenges in the second half, with Joe Mitchell and Sam Pashley both receiving sin-bins, resulting in Campion playing with nine men for a period.

Handsworth overturned an early deficit to defeat Albion Sports 3-1. Tom McNally scored first for Albion Sports before Zackary Sangster, Jordan Hines, and Mitch Dunne found the net for Handsworth, securing the win.

Tadcaster Albion and Thackley played out a 1-1 draw, with Olly Green putting the hosts ahead and Luke Brooks scoring a late equalizer for Thackley in the 76th minute.
