Boy George, the lead singer of Culture Club and long-standing supporter of Israel, arrived in the country on Saturday ahead of two scheduled concerts in Tel Aviv. His visit includes a special performance dedicated to the Nova community and their families.

The singer arrived via private jet and was greeted at Ben-Gurion Airport’s Fattal Lounge by Sylvan Adams, president of the World Jewish Congress Israel, and Guy Beser, co-owner of Live Nation Israel, which is producing the upcoming concerts.

Expressing his sentiments upon arrival, Boy George emphasized his commitment to peace and unity. “I am here with you – out of love, out of a belief in peace, and out of a desire for us to dance, live, and celebrate together again,” he said.

Boy George has recently released the song "We Will Dance Again" in July, a track through which he voices solidarity with the Jewish people. He noted that conversations with his Jewish friends in Britain, who have been expressing feelings of insecurity and fear, inspired him to speak out. “It’s insane that they’re feeling so unsafe, powerless, and frightened, and I just felt like I needed to say something,” he explained. He also reflected on the positive response the song has received from the Jewish community, describing their appreciation as meaningful and overwhelming.

The upcoming concerts and the dedicated performance are part of Boy George’s ongoing efforts to support and connect with the Israeli community through his music and public advocacy.
