Josna Samadder, a 36-year-old breast cancer patient from Wazirpur upazila in Barishal, is appealing for financial support to continue her treatment. Diagnosed with cancer in her left breast in May, Josna has been undergoing chemotherapy at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital in Dhaka since May 12.

Her husband, Raton Samadder, 42, a carpenter and occasional day laborer, has already spent approximately Tk 3.5 lakh on her treatment. The expenses have been covered through loans and assistance from relatives and neighbors. Josna has completed four rounds of chemotherapy, but doctors have recommended eight additional sessions, each costing around Tk 50,000.

Due to financial constraints, Josna missed a scheduled chemotherapy session on September 7. The family is seeking help to cover the remaining treatment costs and ensure she can continue her therapy without interruption.
