British cyclist Matthew Brennan secured his fourth stage win at the 2023 Vuelta a España on Tuesday, continuing an impressive debut in Grand Tour racing. The 21-year-old from Darlington triumphed in the 16th stage, held at La Rábida, after a well-executed lead-out from his Visma-Lease a Bike teammate Wout van Aert. Brennan surged ahead during the final group sprint, outpacing competitors Bryan Coquard and Vito Braet, who rounded out the podium.
