Ross County continued their winning start to the season with a late 2-1 victory over Montrose at Victoria Park in Dingwall on Saturday. Brian Graham, who scored the decisive goal for the second consecutive Saturday, was again central to the result. The Staggies took the lead just before halftime when Graham’s header struck the crossbar and bounced down for Lewis Strapp to capitalize and score. Montrose equalized from the penalty spot after Aidan Quinn was fouled in the box, with Gary Oliver converting. The match winner came in the 86th minute when Graham headed home Lewis Jamieson’s cross past goalkeeper Cammy Gill.

Elsewhere, Hamilton Academical maintained their perfect record with a narrow 1-0 home win over Alloa Athletic. The only goal of the game arrived in the 27th minute when Cammy Blues was set up by Kyle MacDonald to secure the victory, following the club’s 5-0 opening day triumph.

East Fife earned their first win of the campaign with a 2-0 win over Cove Rangers. Goals in the final 10 minutes sealed the victory, with Hearts loanee Connor Dow scoring in the 80th minute and Jaiden Fairley adding a second seven minutes later.

The Lanarkshire derby between Airdrieonians and East Kilbride ended in a 1-1 draw. Sean Fagan gave East Kilbride the lead, but Airdrie equalized from the penalty spot through Liam McLeish.

On the road, Peterhead traveled 500 miles to face Queen of the South at Palmerston Park and returned with a 1-0 win. Cammy Smith scored the only goal of the match, securing three points for the visitors.
