Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler faces several injury concerns ahead of the club’s UEFA Conference League fixture against FK Jablonec in the Czech Republic. The match, scheduled for Thursday evening, comes shortly after Brighton’s commanding 5-0 Premier League victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Following a 4-0 win over Kauno Zalgiris in their opening Conference League group stage match at the Amex Stadium last week, Hurzeler is expected to make several changes to the starting lineup as he manages player fitness and squad rotation.

Pascal Struijk is doubtful for the trip to Jablonec due to a thigh injury that kept him out of the recent clash with Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Femi Azeez, a new signing from Millwall acquired on transfer deadline day, is reported to be nearing full fitness and may feature in the squad.

However, several key players remain sidelined. Midfielders Mats Wieffer and Zadok Yohanna, forwards Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Stefanos Tzimas, and striker Evan Ferguson are all unavailable as Brighton prepare for the European fixture.

Hurzeler’s challenge will be to balance competitiveness in the Conference League while preserving his squad’s overall fitness for the demanding Premier League schedule.
