Britain’s male gymnasts are preparing to compete for qualification to the 2028 Olympic Games at the upcoming team final of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Rotterdam. The team, comprising Joe Fraser, Jake Jarman, Harry Hepworth, Courtney Tulloch, and Reuben Ward, secured second place in the qualifying round, positioning them among the favorites heading into the final.

The top three teams in the final will earn quota places for the Los Angeles Olympics. Jake Jarman, the reigning world champion on floor exercise, expressed optimism about the team’s prospects, describing the current lineup as one of the strongest in recent years. “We’ve still got more to give and if we can deliver, we have a serious shot of getting in the top three,” Jarman said ahead of the competition.

Jarman, 24, also highlighted the camaraderie within the squad, noting the significance of competing alongside close teammates on the world stage. With their collective performance placing Britain in a strong position, the team will be aiming to secure one of the coveted Olympic berths in the final round. The outcome will determine their participation in Los Angeles, where representatives from the world’s leading gymnastics nations will compete.
