British social media influencers Paul Wood and Paul Klein, collectively known as Woody & Kleiny, recently experienced a taste of Texan culture during their ongoing tour of the United States in support of the World Cup. Arriving in North Texas as enthusiastic supporters of the English national soccer team, the duo embraced the region’s cowboy heritage before departing the state.

Woody & Kleiny, who command a combined following of approximately 50 million across various platforms, are undertaking a 39-day, 15,000-mile journey across the U.S. to document and livestream their World Cup experiences around the clock. Their itinerary has included stops in several cities, including Arlington and Amarillo, Texas.

During their three-day visit to North Texas, the pair fully immersed themselves in local traditions, donning authentic cowboy attire complete with hats, belts, and shirts. Paul Klein described the experience as transformative, saying they “felt like proper cowboys.”

In addition to embracing cowboy culture, the duo participated in a ceremonial first pitch ceremony at Globe Life Field in Arlington. This event took place prior to a Texas Rangers baseball game against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday, further highlighting their engagement with the local sports scene during their World Cup tour.

Wood and Klein’s journey across the United States reflects a blend of sporting enthusiasm and cultural exploration, as they follow the World Cup while sharing highlights of American cities and customs with their vast online audience. Their visit to Texas serves as a notable example of how global sporting events can foster cultural exchange and tourism interest.
