Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were among the guests at a birthday celebration for David Furnish, husband and longtime collaborator of Sir Elton John, in Venice over the weekend. The event marked Furnish’s 64th birthday and took place at Elton’s Club, a private music venue located within the luxury Airelles Palladio hotel on the island of Giudecca.

The couple joined a group of friends, including Damian Hurley, another of Sir Elton’s godchildren, and entrepreneur Charlie Karlsen. The evening featured a three-course dinner followed by performances from Sir Elton John and Furnish. Sir Elton, who is 79, serenaded Furnish, whom he married in 2014. Furnish, 64, has managed Sir Elton since 2015 and serves as CEO of Rocket Entertainment, the singer’s media company.

Notable attendees included designer Melissa Odabash, known for her swimwear worn by the Princess of Wales and her role as an ambassador for Sir Elton’s AIDS Foundation. The guests stayed at the Airelles Palladio, a five-star hotel with room rates reportedly exceeding £1,300 per night.

Elton’s Club was developed collaboratively by Sir Elton and Furnish and is part of the hotel situated on Giudecca, an island in the Venetian lagoon. The couple owns a historic 17th-century one-bedroom apartment nearby, which they purchased in 2001. Their broader property holdings include a summer residence in Nice, France, and an estate in Windsor. Sir Elton John and David Furnish are parents to two children, Zachary, 15, and Elijah, 13, both born via surrogacy.

Brooklyn Beckham, 27, is godson to Sir Elton John and Furnish, reflecting a close personal connection between the families. However, his parents, Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, were absent from the gathering. The couple have reportedly been estranged from their eldest son for over 18 months and did not attend the birthday event.

The celebration offered a glimpse into the circle of Sir Elton John and David Furnish, highlighting both their personal life and ongoing cultural influence.
