A 65-year-old man was bitten and struck by a younger individual following a complaint about loud music in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, according to police reports. The incident took place near a Domino’s Pizza located on Rockaway Parkway close to Kings Highway in the Brownsville neighborhood at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Authorities said the victim approached the suspect to ask him to lower the volume of music coming from a speaker. The situation escalated when the suspect bit the man on the left cheek and then punched him multiple times in the face before fleeing the scene. The victim declined medical treatment at the time of the incident.

Police released surveillance footage on Monday evening in an effort to identify the suspect. The individual is described as wearing a black Champion T-shirt, a backward black baseball cap, light-colored shorts, and black sneakers.

Law enforcement officials have urged anyone with information related to the case to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips through the department’s official Crime Stoppers website. The investigation remains ongoing.
