A 4,000-year-old Bronze Age burial mound known as Fire Beacon Cairn, located near Crowcombe on the Quantock Hills in Somerset, has been vandalized after stones were removed from the site. The damage was observed on two separate occasions by a local landowner, who subsequently reported the incidents to area rangers and Historic England. Fire Beacon Cairn is a protected historical site, and authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage.
