KUWAIT CITY — The Kuwaiti Cabinet underscored the critical importance of adhering to established timelines for infrastructure development projects during its weekly meeting on Tuesday. The session was led by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The Cabinet’s emphasis came following a detailed presentation by Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, which highlighted ongoing efforts related to road maintenance, the installation of traffic signage, and the expansion of the road network serving the new Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 2 (T2). The briefing also covered comprehensive upkeep plans for internal streets throughout Kuwait.

Officials stressed that accelerating progress and improving the quality of maintenance work are essential to enhancing road safety for users and minimizing traffic congestion on both major highways and urban roads. These measures aim to facilitate smoother traffic flow nationwide, thereby reducing density and easing travel for motorists across the country. The Cabinet’s directive reflects a broader commitment to advancing Kuwait’s transportation infrastructure as part of its development agenda.
