Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed to a buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies and is expected to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers after clearing waivers, sources familiar with the situation reported. The 33-year-old guard appeared in 51 games for Memphis last season, averaging 8.4 points and 21.9 minutes per game before undergoing finger surgery in February, which sidelined him for the final 31 games.

Caldwell-Pope brings extensive NBA experience, with a career average of 11 points over 963 games spanning 13 seasons. During his career, he has played for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, and Grizzlies.

In other NBA roster moves, Mario Hezonja has signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, marking his return to the league after a six-year spell overseas. The 31-year-old Croatian forward has spent the past four seasons with Real Madrid in the EuroLeague, where he played a key role in winning the 2023 EuroLeague championship. Hezonja was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Spanish Liga ACB for the 2025-26 season, averaging 17.5 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Hezonja was originally selected fifth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft and last played in the league during the 2019-20 season with the Portland Trail Blazers. His return to the NBA with the Cavaliers represents a significant transition back to the U.S. professional basketball scene.
