Their friendship began around 20 years ago while working on the production of "The Woman in White," bonding over interests like Hindu scripture and spiritual growth. Since then, they have engaged with a variety of metaphysical disciplines, including readings and energy work, often frequenting a shop in Covent Garden known for such services.
Robinson takes a direct approach to the mystical arts, conducting angel card readings herself and describing moments where she has experienced strong intuitive insights. George, by contrast, tends to seek guidance from others, maintaining contact with a spiritual adviser and showing particular interest in crystals, which she shares with fellow cast members during rehearsals for the West End revival of "High Society."
Both women describe spirituality as a source of comfort and clarity in their personal lives. George has recounted experiences where a clairvoyant accurately channelled the spirit of her late aunt, capturing even specific accents. She also shared how receiving advice from the spirit of a former boyfriend, who had been diagnosed with leukemia, influenced her perspective on relationships, cautioning her against pursuing a partner she considered unsuitable.
