Welsh athlete Jeremiah Azu was the only British competitor to qualify for the final, placing fifth with a time of 10.03 seconds. In the women’s 100 meters event, New Zealand’s Zoe Hobbs claimed the gold medal with a time of 10.93 seconds. England’s Amy Hunt secured the silver medal, finishing closely behind with 10.98 seconds, while Australia’s Torrie Lewis earned the bronze in 10.99 seconds. Imani Lansiquot also reached the final but did not place on the podium.
