Emmy award-winning South African comedian and former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, is set to return to Singapore for a live stand-up performance at The Star Theatre on November 3. The show will be part of the 2026 edition of the Just For Laughs Singapore comedy festival, which runs from October 6 to December 1 across multiple venues in the city.
Noah, 42, has previously performed in Singapore on several occasions, including four sold-out shows in 2024 at The Star Theatre during his global Off The Record tour, as well as his 2019 debut at the same venue. His accolades include Emmy awards for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series in 2017 and Outstanding Talk Series in 2024, both for The Daily Show With Trevor Noah.
Pre-sale tickets for Noah’s upcoming performance were made available starting September 9 at 10 a.m., with general ticket sales beginning on September 11 at 10 a.m. Prices for the event range from S$128 to S$268.
The Just For Laughs festival, originating in Canada in 1983, is widely recognized as one of the largest and most prestigious comedy festivals worldwide. The Singapore edition launched in 2025, featuring international talent such as Jimmy O. Yang and Eddie Izzard.
The 2026 festival features a diverse lineup of international comedians performing across various venues. Notable acts include Atsuko Okatsuka, an American comedian known for her viral performances, who will appear at The Star Theatre on November 25 with her The Big Bowl Tour. Other scheduled performers include Chinese-American comedian Jiaoying Summers at the Capitol Theatre on October 6, Australian comedian Aaron Chen at the same venue on October 19, and American comedian Morgan Jay at the Esplanade Theatre on November 13 and 14.
The festival also includes the Just For Laughs All Star Gala at the Esplanade Theatre on November 15. The gala will be hosted by Singaporean comedian Fadzr Rashada, professionally known as Fakkah Fuzz. The international lineup for the gala features Sri Lanka-born Australian comedian Sashi Perera, Filipino comedian Alex Calleja, and Hong Kong-based comedian Garron Chu.
