The Canadian singer, 58, is preparing to perform a series of concerts at the Plenitude Arena as part of a residency set to begin on September 12. Dion, who had only performed once in the six years preceding this announcement, was greeted by enthusiastic fans during a recent public appearance in the French capital. Nearly nine million people worldwide registered in an attempt to obtain one of the 450,000 tickets available for the upcoming 16 shows scheduled throughout September and October.

Speaking to French media, Dion expressed a mixture of anticipation and nervousness about returning to the stage after such a prolonged absence. She described Paris as her “second home” and emphasized the ongoing nature of her journey with the illness, noting the support she has received since her diagnosis.
