Chicago Bulls rookie Dailyn Swain has leased a luxury apartment in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, according to a recent team video. The 21-year-old small forward, who was selected 15th overall in this year’s NBA draft, finalized a 12-month rental agreement on July 5 following his June 23 draft selection.
Swain, originally from Ohio, played college basketball at Xavier University before transferring to the University of Texas. Standing 6 feet 7 inches tall, he joined the Bulls as a promising first-round pick for the 2026 NBA season.
The apartment, located in a newly constructed condominium building, spans nearly 2,000 square feet and features three bedrooms. According to the video shared by the Bulls on social media, the unit includes floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank flooring, private elevator access, and a kitchen outfitted with quartz countertops, Gaggenau appliances, and Brazilian cabinetry. The monthly rent is reported to be $9,000.
In the video tour, Swain described the space as a place of comfort and relaxation after the physical and mental demands of professional basketball. “I think home for me just means being comfortable, peace, relaxation, being able to come home from long days in the gym — good games, bad games, whatever the case may be — being able to come home and kind of feel comfortable, feel at peace,” he said while standing on the balcony overlooking the Chicago skyline.
Swain also expressed appreciation for Chicago’s beauty, noting a newfound admiration for the city’s nighttime skyline, which he had not previously experienced in depth despite prior visits.
Eli Masud of Compass represented Swain in securing the rental but declined to provide additional comment.
