Israeli forces and settlers injured several Palestinians during multiple incidents in the West Bank on Saturday, according to local Palestinian sources.
In the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, clashes occurred when Israeli troops and settlers reportedly attacked the home of Mohammad Hamed Abu Alia’s family. One Palestinian was injured by live ammunition to the thigh, while two others sustained wounds from rubber-coated metal bullets. Additionally, a 10-year-old boy, Raed Odeh Abu Alia, suffered a head injury caused by a stun grenade. Those injured were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Earlier the same day, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the town of Doha, located west of Bethlehem. Security sources reported the deployment of troops across several neighborhoods, although no house searches or arrests were reported during this operation.
In a separate episode near Yabad, south of Jenin, settlers released their livestock onto Palestinian agricultural land in Khirbet Mas'ud, causing damage to crops and trees. Local witnesses noted that dozens of settlers participated in the action. This area, along with Khirbet Mas'ud and its surroundings, has experienced a series of settler and military attacks in recent times. These include raids on homes and grazing areas, as well as physical assaults and property damage targeting Palestinian residents.
Palestinian sources described the ongoing incidents as part of a broader strategy to limit Palestinian movement and advance settlement expansion through land seizure and forced displacement. On Saturday, settlers were also reported grazing their livestock on Palestinian-owned farmland in Al-Mughayyir.
No official statements from Israeli authorities were immediately available regarding the events. The series of encounters underscore persistent tensions and confrontations between Israeli forces, settlers, and Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
