Muscat — Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue, visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) on Sunday, accompanied by a delegation. Upon arrival, Zhai was welcomed by Commodore Adil bin Hamoud al Busaidy, the head of the MSC.
During the visit, the Chinese envoy and his team received a detailed briefing on the centre’s operations and its role in safeguarding maritime security. They were also given a tour of the MSC’s facilities, including an overview of its latest technological equipment.
The visit underscores ongoing cooperation efforts between China and regional security entities in addressing maritime challenges. The MSC plays a key role in monitoring and coordinating responses to security threats in the surrounding waters, contributing to the safety and stability of maritime routes vital to global trade.
