The Clinton Foundation announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting state and local governments in developing and implementing bipartisan policy solutions. The effort, named the Clinton Policy Institute (CPI), focuses on improving health outcomes—particularly for women and children—strengthening economic security, and enhancing democratic processes.
Unveiled on Monday, the CPI represents the foundation’s first major program launch in over ten years. It seeks to bring together political leaders from across the ideological spectrum, alongside experts and individuals directly impacted by the issues under consideration, to formulate pragmatic and evidence-based policy responses to longstanding challenges.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton emphasized the importance of the initiative amid current societal pressures, noting the difficulties families face due to rising costs, economic uncertainty, rapid technological change, and increasing demands on public institutions. “We created CPI because we believe there are still practical, evidence-based solutions that can improve people’s lives,” she stated.
Through this collaborative approach, the Clinton Policy Institute aims to identify actionable strategies that local and state officials can employ to tackle complex problems in a nonpartisan manner, with the goal of fostering healthier communities, economic resilience, and robust democratic engagement.
