CNN’s multiplatform programming initiative, CNN Creators, is set to launch a new, technologically advanced studio in Media City Qatar, located in Doha. The facility, which replaces a temporary setup used since the program’s debut in October 2025, integrates a studio, newsroom, and production center into a single open-plan space designed to enhance the show’s production capabilities across multiple platforms.

The studio features multiple remotely operated cameras mounted on a ceiling track, enabling a 360-degree, continuously moving view of the studio environment. This innovative camera system is complemented by a control room setup capable of broadcasting both vertically and horizontally, allowing for simultaneous live streaming and traditional linear broadcasts.

Meara Erdozain, senior vice president of international programming at CNN, emphasized the unique nature of CNN Creators within the network’s portfolio. She described the new space as one that promotes flexibility, experimentation, and innovation. “It’s a space where conversations and ideas can be captured in real time, delivering on the multiplatform concept of CNN Creators with a live show at its heart,” Erdozain stated. She added that the studio mirrors the dynamic atmosphere of a newsroom, providing an environment conducive to authentic interactions with the audience.

Andrew Potter, the show’s executive producer, noted that the intent behind CNN Creators has been to explore new storytelling techniques and presentation styles that track the evolution of stories from inception to conclusion. He said the new facility enhances their ability to break conventional production boundaries and experiment creatively.

A distinctive feature of the studio is a kitchen area, which Erdozain described as “the heart of every home,” where genuine and open conversations can take place. This design choice reflects the program’s aim to connect with viewers by fostering relatable dialogue and interaction.

Since its inception, CNN Creators has covered a broad range of subjects, including the rise of artificial intelligence and its applications in fields such as sports and conservation, lifestyle trends like the increasing use of peptides, the influence of digital technology on neurological functions, and the issue of covert surveillance involving ‘smart glasses.’ Additionally, the program has contributed to CNN’s reporting on the conflict in Iran.

CNN Creators is broadcast on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time on CNN International, with content also distributed via CNN’s digital and social media platforms. The launch of the new studio represents a significant step in expanding the program’s production potential and engagement with its global audience.
