Ardley United maintained their position at the top of the Combined Counties League Premier North with a narrow 1-0 victory over Rayners Lane on Saturday, thanks to a goal from Marcus Mealing. Burnham, who sit second, were held to a 2-2 draw at Harefield United after conceding a stoppage-time equalizer by Max McLeish. Burnham’s goals included one from Stephen Langley, while Harefield’s scoring contributors were Abdullah Selloum and Jordan Brown.
Wallingford & Crowmarsh secured a 2-1 away win at Bedfont, highlighted by a brace from Euan Aitchison. Abingdon United rallied from behind to defeat North Greenford United 3-1 with two goals credited to Christopher Castle and one from George Gilmore. Meanwhile, Penn & Tylers Green recorded a 2-0 home victory over Easington Sports, with Kyle Dawes and Kajtek Halatyn both finding the net. Other Premier North matches saw Northwood and Broadfields United share the points in a 1-1 draw. Amersham Town and Thatcham Town, as well as North Leigh and Holyport, both ended their fixtures goalless. On Friday evening, Hilltop defeated Reading City 3-2, with goals from Abukar Mohamed, Ibrahim Salih, and Ibrahim Benabbas.
In the Premier South, leaders Fleet Town beat Camberley Town 3-1, with a brace from Connor Holland supplemented by a strike from Sam Bartlett. Wokingham Town remain level on points and goal difference but narrowly missed victory as Luke Brooks scored a penalty in the 94th minute for the visitors before Marcel Stepniewski equalized four minutes later. Rossington Main and Horbury Town drew 1-1 after Myron Gibbons gave the hosts the lead and Lucas Smith responded for the visitors.
Penistone Church and Retford United also shared points in a 1-1 draw, with goals from Jack Cawthorn and Jacob Carter respectively. Redhill triumphed 2-1 over Metropolitan Police, courtesy of two goals from Alex Keating. Godalming Town suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at home to Epsom & Ewell, with five different scorers for the visitors: Stefan Aiwone, Alex Foord, Luis Oliviera, Blessing Homebessa, and Obasanjo Akinniranye.
Knaphill secured a commanding 4-0 win at Eversley & California, with Charlie Postance contributing two goals, and Lucas Watkins and Matt Copland adding one each. Tooting & Mitcham United defeated Balham 3-1 as Antonio Simeone, Aaron Smith-Joseph, and Elijah Simpson all scored. Chipstead claimed a 4-2 home victory against Virginia Water, with goals from Abioseh Davies, Diego Munoz, James Mansfield, and Reece Deakin, who converted a penalty.
Fixtures that ended in draws included Badshot Lea and Tadley Calleva in a 3-3 thriller, Abbey Rangers and Sheerwater at 2-2, Yateley United and Alton also drawing 2-2, and Corinthian-Casuals and Sutton Common Rovers finishing 1-1.
In Division One, Bovingdon continued their strong campaign with a 4-1 win over Spartans Youth, propelled by a hat-trick from Ben Baldwin. Westside remain second after inflicting a heavy 7-1 defeat on Edgware & Kingsbury.
