Authorities from the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department conducted an inspection campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, located within the Capital and Farwaniya governorates. The operation uncovered multiple commercial violations, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on its official social media platform.
The recorded infractions included the absence of price tags on goods, failure to issue sales invoices to customers, and the omission of information regarding the country of origin of products. Following the inspections, violation notices were issued to the offending businesses, which were subsequently referred to the Commercial Prosecution for legal proceedings.
The ministry emphasized that these enforcement measures are part of ongoing efforts to uphold consumer rights and ensure compliance with commercial regulations in the retail sector.
