The welterweight world champion stopped Benn inside two rounds during their bout in Las Vegas early Sunday, marking a significant setback for Benn, who had hoped to emulate his father Nigel Benn by reaching boxing’s highest levels.

In a candid reflection on the fight and his future, Benn acknowledged the personal cost of pursuing his boxing ambitions. “I don’t have the answer” when asked about his next steps, he said, noting that if someone had asked his 19-year-old self whether he would have endured the challenges he has faced over the past decade, he would have thought it unlikely.

Benn emphasized the dedication he brought to the sport, stating that he always gave “110 percent” in the ring with the goal of providing entertainment and memorable experiences for fans. However, he said that commitment came with sacrifices, particularly for his family.
