The annual Countryfile Ramble is set to return in 2026 for its 12th consecutive year, continuing its support for the BBC Children in Need charity. This fundraising event will feature a group of five inspirational young people who have benefited from Children in Need programs joining Countryfile presenters for a scenic walk in the Peak District.

Presenters Matt Baker, Anita Rani, Margherita Taylor, Joe Crowley, and John Craven will accompany the participants on the ramble, which highlights the natural beauty of the region while raising awareness and funds for the charity. The event has become a fixture in the fundraising calendar, combining outdoor activity with storytelling to engage audiences and supporters.

Children in Need has helped numerous young individuals across the United Kingdom, providing grants and support aimed at improving their lives. The ramble offers an opportunity for those directly impacted by the charity’s work to share their experiences alongside familiar television faces, underscoring the personal impact of community support.

By leveraging the popularity of Countryfile, the annual walk seeks to encourage donations and public involvement, emphasizing the importance of ongoing funding for Children in Need projects. The 2026 event will maintain the tradition of raising both awareness and resources through a collective effort that celebrates resilience and community spirit in one of England’s most picturesque landscapes.
