Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, including two to CeeDee Lamb, as the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field. The victory improved Dallas’s record to 3-4, keeping them in NFC East contention behind the New York Giants, who lead the division at 4-2-1.

Javonte Williams recorded a career-high 155 rushing yards and scored a touchdown, contributing to the Cowboys’ 204-yard ground attack—Dallas’s first 150-yard rushing game since Ezekiel Elliott achieved the feat in 2018. Brandon Aubrey also added three field goals, including a 55-yard kick, helping extend Dallas’s lead throughout the second half.

The Eagles, who have now lost five consecutive games—their longest losing streak since 2016—fell to 2-5. The team’s struggles continued amid uncertainty surrounding starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to blood clots in his lungs. Hurts has not played since his diagnosis, and backup Tanner McKee, who filled in Monday, completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards with one touchdown and one interception. However, McKee was unable to keep pace with the Cowboys, who capitalized on sustained drives to secure the win.

A pivotal moment came late in the third quarter when the Cowboys trailed 21-20. Prescott connected with Lamb for a 16-yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone, followed by Prescott’s own two-point conversion run, putting Dallas ahead 28-21. Aubrey’s successive field goals and Williams’s 2-yard touchdown run sealed the outcome.

During halftime, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in a brief ceremony. Lurie, who grew up in Newton and Chestnut Hill, gave a short speech but did not participate in a pregame news conference. Team coach Nick Sirianni remains the primary spokesperson regarding Hurts’s health condition.
