Nottingham Forest are pursuing a move for Crystal Palace right wing-back Daniel Munoz as the transfer window approaches its deadline. Forest submitted a £22 million bid for the 30-year-old Colombian, who was an unused substitute in Palace’s recent match against Manchester City. Forest head coach Oliver Glasner declined to comment on the potential deal but indicated the club remains active in the market, aiming to strengthen their squad with additional signings before the window closes. Another target for Forest is Celta Vigo’s Javi Rueda. The club has already secured Chelsea striker Liam Delap in a record £50 million transfer and is reportedly interested in Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, 23, who has not appeared for Spurs this season and has been granted permission to leave.

Chelsea are considering Monaco’s Lamine Camara as a possible replacement if Enzo Fernandez moves to Manchester City. The 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder is also on the radar of Liverpool, while Crystal Palace had an earlier offer for Camara rejected during the summer. Fernandez did not feature in Chelsea’s recent match against Luton Town, with head coach Xabi Alonso stating that there are other players who require game time.

In other transfer developments, striker Ben Brereton Diaz has returned to Sheffield United on loan from Southampton for a third spell at the club. The 27-year-old Chilean, who spent last season on loan at Derby County, expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the Blades.

Bolton Wanderers have announced the signings of goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu from Southampton and midfielder Atsuki Ito from Gent. Bazunu, a 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international, and 28-year-old Japanese midfielder Ito are expected to add experience and depth to the Championship side.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s interest in Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah appears to be on hold. The 23-year-old England international, valued at around £30 million, is expected to remain with the German club at least until next summer, as Leverkusen are unwilling to sell the Liverpool recruit during this transfer window.
