Cuecastt marked its second anniversary by organizing a community outreach event for distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the Migrant Workers Resource Center (MWRC) in Doha on September 25, 2026. The initiative, titled “2Gether at the Shelter,” aimed to provide entertainment, support, and a sense of solidarity for Filipinos facing hardship abroad.

Instead of holding a conventional celebration, Cuecastt opted to share the milestone with shelter residents, offering an afternoon of performances, games, food, and gift-giving. The event was attended by Philippine Ambassador to Qatar, His Excellency Mardomel Celo Melicor, who highlighted the importance of compassion and community engagement in the organization's efforts.

The program featured performances by Filipino groups, including Maharlikans Vocal Ensemble Philippines (MVEP), Tanghalang Overseas Pinoy (TOPi), Base One, and talents from TRIARC. Notably, some shelter residents also took part with a surprise performance, prompting applause and underscoring their resilience and artistic abilities despite difficult circumstances.

Beyond entertainment, the celebration included various activities such as games and raffles, with prizes and giveaways distributed to the shelter wards. Contributions of gifts, supplies, and other forms of assistance were provided by Cuecastt’s partners and supporters. The organization also expressed appreciation to the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Qatar for facilitating and supporting the initiative.

Special recognition was given to Ms. Wheng and Atty. Eduard Ferrer, Labor Attaché II, for their roles in coordinating the event at the shelter. Volunteers, organizers, and performers were also acknowledged for their contributions to the successful gathering.

The festivities concluded with DJ Kyle of Base One leading a lively dance session, turning the shelter into a communal celebration space where wards, guests, and volunteers joined in.

Cuecastt’s anniversary event reflected its broader commitment to leveraging its platform beyond digital content, aiming to engage in tangible community support and promote Filipino talent overseas.
